Laundry pickup & delivery · Seattle, WA

Choreless Laundry

Choreless collects, cleans, and returns laundry across Seattle. The service was never the problem — the site was. We rebuilt it on Framer and had it live in 5 business days: one plainly-stated offer, pricing people could actually find, and one obvious next action on every screen.

The problem

The traffic was already there. The page was losing it.

  • Nine in ten visitors left without doing anything. The traffic was already there — the page was losing it.

  • The offer was buried. Someone arriving cold could not tell what Choreless did, where it did it, or what it cost, without reading.

  • Small issues went unfixed for weeks because there was no one whose job it was to notice them.

The redesign

From cluttered to obvious.

The old site buried the offer under noise. The new one leads with it: a countdown-driven intro offer, a ZIP-code availability check right in the hero, and one CTA — Schedule My Pickup — repeated instead of competing with four other choices.

What we did

Three changes that did the work.

  1. 01

Sharpen the message before touching the design

We rewrote the top of the site so the offer reads in one glance: what you get, where it's available, and what happens next. Everything else on the page was made to support that one sentence instead of competing with it.

  2. 02

    One obvious action, everywhere

Every section ends in the same next step instead of scattering visitors across contact forms, phone numbers, and service pages. We also added a time-saved calculator right in the hero — enter your household size and laundry volume, and it shows you a real number: hours back per year. Fewer choices, more bookings, and a reason to believe it's worth the switch.

  3. 03

    Stay on it after launch

Launch is the start of the subscription, not the end of the job. Small fixes get caught and shipped as part of the monthly service, so the site keeps working instead of quietly decaying.

Why it converts

A number people can actually feel.

A generic "save time" promise is easy to scroll past. A specific one isn't. The calculator turns "you'll save time" into "you'll get back roughly 234 hours a year" — a number the visitor generated themselves, based on their own household. Below it, a photo mosaic replaces generic laundry stock photography with what that time actually becomes: family adventures, creative projects, self-care, the things people say they never have time for.

The pricing problem

One page trying to do two jobs.

Wash & Fold customers and Home & Bedding customers want different information, and the old site gave them the same crowded table. We split pricing into two toggles — service type, then billing type — so a visitor seeing $2.79/lb for everyday laundry never has to wade through comforter and rug pricing to find it, and vice versa.

Beyond the homepage

Pages built for where the traffic actually starts.

Not every visitor lands on the homepage. We also built standalone, building-specific landing pages for apartment partnerships — this one, for a Pike Street building, offers residents a free first week with its own signup flow, separate from the main site's messaging. Each of these is its own opportunity for local search, built and optimized around the specific property and audience it serves.

The result

Same traffic. Twice the customers.

  • Conversion rate more than doubled, from 20% to 48%.

  • Drop-off fell from 90% to 53% — the same traffic, far fewer people leaving empty-handed.

  • Ongoing updates are handled monthly, so the numbers hold instead of drifting back.

Want numbers like these?

This is what a real laundry business website looks like when the offer is clear and the pricing is easy to find. If you run a laundry service and your current site is doing the opposite, we build the same kind of no upfront cost laundry service website design — live in 5 business days, nothing to pay until you've seen it.
